Due to some changes in the base code the mod hasn't been working as expected. We've been working on some fixes and updates. Including bugfixes and additional features. UPDATE is due soon.

We also plan to include some localisation. Currently English (international) and Russian will be supported. If you'd like to see us support your language then get in touch and we'll work with you to accommodate your needs.

In the mean time here is the source code as promised. This is an old build and has been changed so people can't just recompile and cause version mismatches. This is for people to learn from, not simply rip off.

Updates planned. - I know what you are thinking, you lot a nuts, or something to that effect. Well just so you have something to look forward to ontop of enjoying the mod we have an update planned for early January. Now I'm not going to spoil any details at this point. But lets just say you may have some new toys and playmates.

Aliens : Killing Floor is now released!

That's right, after long last WPC brings you the one of the most comprehensive mods to date! Head on over to the new website to get the details and grab the download. Workshop downloads will become available soon.

Update 25/11/2012

Ok, getting a bit closer to release. We will be releasing the mod with some mapping tools to help make custom maps that will allow the Xenomorphs to navigate along walls.

UPDATE 21/11/2012

Just thought I'd update the OP. I know we keep saying soon soon, but trust me, we want this out there as much as you do (or might, you might not even give damn but anyway). Just a small status update really.

We are detail duty people. That's right, no gamebreaking bugs (that we know about). Some cool looking maps to go with release. We are chasing down those last few details and making it so you'll hopefully survive more than two mins on your first trip.

UPDATE 10/11/2012

As of this update we are coming closer to release. Single player is an intense almost suicidal mission. Online is almost the same just with friends.

Currently there is a quickly shrinking list of things that need doing and only two bugs (that we know of, I'm sure peeps will find more on release.)

We've been teasing about this for a while, some of you have even seen bits of it and even got your hands on assets from an old servers and other mods.
(Sentry Gun, Flamer, M41AS, Ithaca, Motion Tracker, even rumours of a Xeno on someone's server.)

But none of that, absolutely none of that, compares to the real thing. Well we at WPC think it's about time to actually show what is happening and how close we are to finishing the project. To kick it off here are two videos giving a sneak preview.

Server is currently passworded while testing, then will become open to public SOON™ and the mod will not be released until it's ready, so don't bother asking me 'when' or 'can I have/host' until I say it's actually available, cheers.

Regarding The Source Code

Let me clarify our stance on the source code and the stripped mod. We WILL be releasing the source code in due time although in a non compilable format. Certainly we wouldn't dream of selling the code, not only is it somewhat unethical it is a breach of the EULA.

We want people to be able to learn from us, but not mess with the mod. We will be continuing to update and add to this mod for some time. We would rather not have multiple versions of the mod floating around causing mismatches etc.

Maybe this is a topic for another thread but since when has it been all right to edit an authors work and then distribute it? Is it only recently or has it been around a long time in Unreal. I'd understand if we'd abandoned the mod. But we've only just bloody released it.
