Mods 'n' Muts from the KF Community

While we all love Killing Floor and its' intense Coop game play, a number of community members have customised certain game elements to their own specifications and released their work for the benefit of the community.

Here is a list and brief description of community made Mods and Mutators that utilise and enhance Killing Floor. The list is in no particular order although some groupings are made where applicable.

1. GAME MODES - GREYLISTED AND NON WHITELISTED

GREYLISTED - GAME MODES
(Officially recognised and allows clients to use their existing past gained perks but does not add to earning of perks and achievements)

Killing Floor Vehicle Mod (by braindead)
A Killing Floor vehicles mod with objective based game play. Vehicles are designed in context to their environment to bring an element of realism. Players must purchase fuel from the trader to keep their vehicles running and keep them repaired through wave after wave of abuse.

NON WHITELISTED - GAME MODES
(Not officially recognised due to making the game easier and bringing extreme changes to game play. These will remove the earning of perks and achievements.)

Dead Space (A WPC Mod)
A WPC Mod for the science fiction survival horror Dead Space. Weapons, Perks, Skins, and Necromorphs await you.

Specimen Versus Modification (by Marco)
Players take control of specimens and attack human players using enhanced senses and special moves.
Credits to TheBlackCheetah for the original concept and WPC Clan / Lethal_Vortex for beta testing.

Defence Alliance 2 Mod (by Dest et al)
Team based and Coop game play in this total conversion update mod of the classic Defence Alliance for Unreal Tournament. Select from a range of classes, construct defenses, and ultimately conquer your opponent in this objective based mod.

Specimenation Versus (by TheBlackCheetah)
A Killing Floor versus mod where regular character players pit their wits against an opposing team of human controlled and bot specimens.

KF DeathMatch/TeamDeathMatch (by Marco)
Random spawn point DeathMatch and Counter Strike type gameplay TeamDeathMatch. This mod also has bot support.

Killing Floor 2.5 Rollback (by =213=Slavek, YoYoBatty & the IS2, Greatest tank of WWII 
This set of mutators replaces Killing Floor specimens and weapons with their old version 2.51 Mod counterparts. One mutator replaces weapons while the other replaces specimins allowing server admins to decide if they want a partial or full gameplay switch.

Doom 1 and 2 Monsters and Weapons (by Marco)
A collection of all monsters, weapons, and a few pickups from classic doom. Allows for some player customisation in Single Player and Coop Mode. Please also consider lethalvortex's Doom 2 Map Pack for context game play.

Killing Floor Team Strikes (by TheBlackCheetah)
A Counter Strike type game mode where players eliminate an opposing team before purchasing weapons for another round.

Killing Floor Vehicles (by TheBlackCheetah)
A vehicles mod that allows players to 'interact' with specimins from the comfort of their vehicle.

DM Mayhem (PlateFox) -- BETA VERSION
DM Mayhem is a deathmatch game mode but with a twist in that the specimens also attack players. It also supports team based DM with trader mode and no trader mode.

(Please note that standard Killing Floor perks and achievements will not be available while using community made game modes)

2. MUTATOR ENHANCEMENTS - WHITELISTED, GREYLISTED, AND NON WHITELISTED

While the definition surrounding mod and mutator can be blurred, this list considers mutators as more of an enhancement to the regular Killing Floor Coop game mode. WHITELISTED - GAMEPLAY ENHANCEMENTS
(Officially recognised and do not affect the earning of perks and achievements)

IJC Weapon Pack (by © -=Ivan=- & Jack Carver ©)
The KillingFloor Weapon Pack adds 5 new high quality weapons to KillingFloor: H&K MK23, Dual H&K MK23, Horzine M7A3, Barrett M99, FN Fal.

The Brute (by Hemi, Webley, Braindead, Benjamin)
The Brute is a community made custom character that adds to the existing stock characters.

The Stig - Playable Online Character (by braindead)
This mod allows you to play as 'The Stig' character.

Items Remover (by Phada)
This mutator allows you to remove ALL weapons and tools (including syringe, welder, and nades)

Reloading Mutator (by YoYoBatty)
This mutator allows you to disable automatic reloading when you are out of ammo and attempt to fire.

Patriarch HP Left (by Phada)
This mutator shows the Patriarch's remaining health as a message when a team is destroyed.

No Kills Stats - Replaces 'Kills' with 'Time' (by Benjamin)
This mutator simply alters the scoreboard to replace the kill counter with a time counter - indicating how long that player has been playing in the current round. Hopefully it will help promote better team play since people will care about surviving more than getting the most kills.

KF No Dosh (by rickyhorror)
This mutator removes all money from the game. Trader transactions will not be possible.

KF Faked Players (by Pedr0)
Creates fake instances of players to allow for larger waves of Zeds.

Mirror Friendly Fire (by TheBlackCheetah)
In a server with friendly fire enabled, this mutator reflects a player's friendly fire whereby they will take the damage.

KFAntiblocker (by Benjamin)
This mutator disables player to player collision during trader time ensuring that you can always enter the trader room regardless of other players blocking the entrance.

Corpses Everywhere (by TheBlackCheetah)
Corpses will begin to pile up around you as this mutator extends their lifespan.

No ZED Time (by tychon)
This mutator disables the slow motion ZED time thereby removing the extended drama players witness from headshots and other in game combat actions.

KF Hellfire (by Zerethon)
Husks only mutator.

KFImpossibleF (by rickyhorror)
One hit from the Zeds and you're dead.

WHITELISTED - SERVER ADMIN ENHANCEMENTS
(Officially recognised and do not affect the earning of perks and achievements)

Voting Handler Fix (by Marco)
This mod fixes some broken features on the KF Handler, eg Game Mod Voting, Vote Time Countdown, MapVote for Spectators. This will allow a greater variety of game options.

KF IRC Bot
KFIRCBot is a mutator for Killing Floor that joins IRC and starts reporting the current game to a channel.

Server Ads KF (by DeeZnutZ - original by Michiel 'El Muerte' Hendriks - Same as below, but made for KF)

Server Ads SE (by Michiel 'El Muerte' Hendriks)
This server plugin allows server admin to display advertisements, rules, news, or any other manner of message to players that join the server. There's a setup post here by FeuerSturm that is worth a look at.

Mutator Random Map V1.0 (by DarkStarX)
This mutator launches a random map and game mode from a pre-defined selection.

Auto Change Maps v103(ACM) (by MsuLL)
This is a server actor that switches to a random map from a pre-defined list of 64 maps. In addition, server admin can select a specific mutator and gameclass.

Server Ext v110 (by Michiel 'El Muerte' Hendriks) - Mirror
This server plugin consists of multiple components that provide server admin with logging, balancing, and other administration capability.

XBan V02b (by Radu "radix" Colceriu)
This mutator improved kick/ban commands by adding log functionality. This link only contains the .u mutator file and does not contain a .ucl or read me. However, Zetsumei has kindly bundled up a file with the .u .ucl and Readme.txt file in the 6th post of this thread.

GREYLISTED - GAMEPLAY/SERVER ADMIN ENHANCEMENTS
(Officially recognised and allows clients to use their existing past gained perks but does not add to earning of perks and achievements)

KF Doom III (by Marco)
This mod is a port and heavily modified from Unreal Tournament 2004's Doom 3 monsters pack by INIQUITOUS.
This monster pack contains nearly all monsters from Doom 3 and Doom 3 RoE including a mutator to add in them to KF waves.

KF Weapons Pack 4.8 (by -=Ivan=- & Jack Carver)
The Killing Floor Weapon Pack adds 4 new high quality weapons to Killing Floor.

KF Bleed Out (by rickyhorror)
This mutator makes your character slowly lose health over time.

Custom Shop Mutator (by braindead and Benjamin)
This mutator allows server admin to add custom weapons to the trader list.

Unsilenced MAC-10 (by YoYoBatty)
This mutator gives you the unsilenced version of the MAC-10.

Only This Specimen (by Benjamin)
Allows you to pick a single type of specimen for all waves including as final boss.

KF Bots (by Marco)
This mutator adds bots to accompany you against the zeds during those quiet periods.

Forced Max Players (by Marco)
This mod allows server admin to increase player count beyond the hardcoded maximum of 6. By increasing player count above 6 all Perks and Levelling features will be removed.

KF Weapon Pack V3 (by Ivan, Jack Carver, Marco, Bonez18, Gregs2K2, The Sorrow -- thx to Sgt.Kelly, Cpt.Cavious, netsky, and BETA testers)
This pack includes the Horzine M7A3 Medic Rifle and MK23 Pistol.

NON WHITELISTED - GAMEPLAY/SERVER ADMIN ENHANCEMENTS
(Not officially recognised due to making the game easier and/or bringing extreme changes to game play. These will remove the earning of perks and achievements but can complement custom game modes where that is already the case)

KFL Mod (by Demon 333 (KFL) and numerous community modders)
This mod adds in new weapons, specimens and perks. It gives more levels and changes the way the game works.
(Beware of RAM overload crashes. This issue is currently being looked into)

Scoreboard (by FluX)
This mutator adds a custom scoreboard with additional information.

Infected Soldiers (by Marco)
This mutator adds infected soldiers (armed specimen) to the game. They will increase the difficulty of the game as well as be able to shoot players that are camping at unreachable (map) glitch spots. The mutator adds the new specimen in the later waves (after ~50 % of the waves has passed). It starts with the easier ones, then adds in harder ones as game progresses.

Use Trader Skin Online (by KFArgentina Team)
This mutator enables players to use the Trader Skin. All other players will be able to see your character as the Trader.

Weapon Pickup Message (by NANOMO - KFArgentina Team)
This mutator allows you to know who picks up your weapon in order for you to ask for it back.

Chat Status (by lTLSlG@Bo - KFArgentina Team)
This mutator allows players to know when a player is writing something in 'Say'/'TeamSay' by placing a chat icon above their head. This allows us to know the player isn't AFK.

Super Zombies (by scarey ghost)
Specimen enhancements that increase specimen capabilities.

Nade Warn (by Phada)
This mutator will show a big icon and danger text (optional) for all or only your own grenades at close range.

Specimen Kill Messages (by Marco)
This mutator shows small kill count messages on your screen as you kill specimens. The messages will remain on the top-left corner of the screen for ~4 seconds for each specimen type you kill and accumulate as you kill the same type of specimen in a short amount of time.

Items Remover (by Phada)
This mutator allows you to remove ALL weapons (including syringe, welder, and nades) 27 options in total, so everyone will be happy.

HUD Slot Machines (by Marco)
This mutator awards 'slot machine' type bars for making kills. Under default settings for each 4 kills you receive 1 bar; collect 3 of the same bars in a row and receive a gift or a curse. There are numerous customisable values for server hosts to edit to enhance the experience.

Server Side Perks (by Marco)
This mutator brings the perks stats tracking back the way it were in KF 2.5 in Unreal Tournament 2004: All player stats are being tracked by the server individually. This mutator also allow class changes at the end of each wave thereby providing a perk replacement.

KF WTF Mutator (By Beees and Peas)
This mutator changes the way many of the perks work and add additional zed variations based off of existing zeds.

Perk Replacement (Original by Sinnerg = Update by arramus)
This mutator prompts players to select a class when joining a server and provides a level as set by the server admin.
Requires the 2K4Menus.utx texture from your client to server textures folder. Place the following in your KillingFloor.ini

This mutator does not support class changes unless you die.

Roll The Dice (by Sinnerg et al)
By entering !rtd in game chat (not team chat) a player takes a gamble to receive a random advantage of disadvantage. Examples include; ammo refill, lose all money, temporary god mode, spawn a FleshPound.

Human AI (by TheBlackCheetah)
This mutator brings AI support to a player when no one else is available to game.

AdminPlus (by Rythmix and ported to KF byRED_FROG)
This admin tool allows admin to perform a number of server commands such as changing a player's head size or spawning a Zed.

Japanese Localisation + Japanese, Chinese, Korean Typing Support (by Yin)
Translations and language support files for in game text.
